The primary objective of the socio-environmental activities organized by Circolo Vela Toscana is to significantly improve the quality of the sea on which we sail, actively and consciously addressing the issue of marine pollution. This initiative not only aims to remove plastic waste from the beaches but also represents a concrete step toward combating marine pollution and preserving the local marine ecosystem.
It is a noble cause dedicated to creating a healthier and more sustainable marine environment. In addition to cleaning the beaches, detailed information is provided on the impact of marine pollution and the actions each of us can take to protect our oceans.
Circolo Vela Toscana also promotes cultural and educational initiatives to raise awareness about marine life. These initiatives include inviting writers and experts, such as environmental engineers, who explain the processes of waste management and recycling. Finally, in all proposed activities, participants are encouraged to adopt a plastic-free approach.
The club’s approach is to offer its clients educational, training, cultural and environmental initiatives to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable development. The participation of experts, writers and technicians allows for the transmission of information and tools to understand how each person can contribute with their daily actions to sustainable development.
