The Soška Pot, or Soča Trail, is an educational hiking path established as the first nature trail within Triglav National Park in Slovenia. Spanning from the river’s source in the Trenta Valley to the town of Bovec, the trail covers approximately 25 kilometers along the emerald-green Soča River. Designed to showcase the river’s pristine beauty and ecological significance, the trail features 17 information points that educate hikers about the area’s natural and cultural heritage. Suspension footbridges, gorges, and scenic viewpoints enhance the hiking experience, making it both informative and visually captivating. The trail serves as a model for integrating environmental education with outdoor recreation, promoting sustainable tourism and conservation awareness.
